On November 23, the MicroLED Display Sub-forum of the World Display Industry Conference kicked off in Hefei. This sub-forum was chaired by Yan Qun, president of the International Information Display Society China and professor of Fuzhou University. Zhang Zhen: This cost will be higher than the traditional method. I think it is a difficult problem. As a good device, we must consider multiple factors.

Question: It is said that the smaller the MicroLED is, the better it is. Microtron used to make 5 micron MicroLED, but now it is 2.5 micron. If it is small, the quantum efficiency will decrease. How do you think MicroLED can finally achieve this level of technology , Can still maintain a certain brightness and quantum efficiency?
Li Yunli: I have a hard time answering this question. The first one is that its efficiency will decrease. This is due to some fundamental physical reasons. It can also be reduced by different manufacturing methods, but what size and brightness are needed? Can it be done? At the same time, at a reasonable price, for example, in TFT, TFT itself can't do this part, so overall, I think MicroLED can also achieve this technology.

Question: The use of MicroIC requires the transfer of ITP. This MicroIC needs to be transferred twice. Will this incur some additional costs? How to ensure that this cost can be controlled and reduced?
Christopher Ball: The MicroIC is on a 300mm wafer. When transferring, it is very good to put small things on the large wafer. You can use a larger impression area. All three colors are transferred, which can increase the number of transfers. For example, for the TV chip, this die needs to transfer more devices to the large chip.

Question: You said that the installation of MicroLED should be directly stacked on it, and there is a driver IC, how to connect it to these fronts?
François Templière: Actually we have a lot of methods when making, we have several techniques, one of which is to put your blue on COMS and move him Go to the substrate and use this as a further processing machine, so this is done in MicroLED, because you asked for the front, so it is transferred to the substrate. The concept I said can actually be implemented in many ways. Any interval is fine. We can use microtubes or other technologies. At least two connections are required, but it depends on what your driver is. I think there are many solutions here, MicroLED is a method of micro tube.

Question: Is there a price per square meter or more for LCDs above 100 inches (LCD), and the laser display is also above 100 inches? Is there a price comparison for this?
Li Mantie: At present our LCD is 100 inches, 110 inches is about 100,000, but the LCD is a whole, not spliced, so it is difficult to transport and enter the home. Modular splicing can be achieved with LEDs. If it is more than 100 inches, our current products are mainly used in some conference systems. Of course, larger sizes are used in public security traffic police command centers and emergency centers. Those are non-standard. If it is a standard system, a conference system is sold to 40. At around 10,000, this price currently has very large applications in high-end conference rooms. They hope that this intelligent conference system can solve the problem of efficiency, solve the problem of interaction, and solve the problem of remote conferences. This investment is very worthwhile. This is an important application.
